Lord, as this week opens, guard our minds from fear as the noise of the world grows louder and the hour grows later. Keep us anchored in Your Word — quick to pray, slow to grow weary in doing good.
Go before us in every task, every conversation, every quiet hour of labor on the land or at the job. Let nothing we build this week be wasted, and let nothing distract us from watching for You.
Give us wisdom to guard our hearts above all else we guard, strength to be diligent even when no one is watching, and a tongue seasoned with grace rather than complaint. Where we’re weary, renew us. Where we’re anxious, still us. Where we’re distracted, refocus our eyes on the return of the King.
