A Prayer for the Week of May 25, 2026

Heavenly Father,

To You alone belongs all glory, honor, and praise — before this week begins, before a single step is taken, before one word is spoken. You are worthy, Lord. You have always been worthy.

As this new week opens before us, we come not with our plans first, but with open hands. Whatever You have ordained for these days, we receive it. Whatever You have purposed in the unseen, we trust it. You are the God who sees — El Roi — and nothing that touches our lives escapes Your sovereign care.

Give us eyes to see where You are already moving. Give us ears tuned to Your voice above the noise of the world. Quiet the anxious thoughts, Lord. Still the striving. Remind us that You are not surprised by what this week holds.

Where there is work to be done — let us do it with our whole hearts, as unto You. Where there is rest to be received — let us receive it without guilt. Where there is someone who needs the light of the Gospel — let us not pass by on the other side.

Guard our tongues. Govern our thoughts. Sanctify our ordinary moments — the early mornings, the long afternoons, the quiet evenings — and make them holy ground.

And Lord, in the midst of everything this week brings, keep eternity before our eyes. Remind us that this is not our home. We are ambassadors, pilgrims, people of Maranatha — pressing on toward the day when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Until that day, use us. Refine us. Glorify Yourself in and through us.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and coming King —

Amen.

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace.” — Numbers 6:24–26
