He Sees Only You

A declaration of God’s sovereign love — written in ink that cannot fade

WALKING BY FAITH  ·  APRIL 2026

In your personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a truth so profound, so breathtaking in its intimacy, that the enemy will spend a lifetime trying to keep you from grasping it: He sees only you. Not the crowd. Not the sum of your failures. Not the weight of what you have yet to become. You — His Beloved — standing before Him, seen fully, known completely, and loved without condition.

This is not a sentiment born of wishful thinking. It is the eternal posture of a God who calls Himself your Shepherd, your Bridegroom, your Father. Before time was measured and before the stars were hung in place, the eyes of the Lord were upon you.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”JEREMIAH 1:5 · NIV

WHEN GOD DECLARES, THE EARTH RESHAPES

We often receive the declarations of God as beautiful words — words that comfort us in dark nights and encourage us in seasons of waiting. But beloved, they are so much more than comfort. When God declares something over your life, it does not remain suspended in the heavens as a pleasant promise. It descends. It breaks into the material world. It reshapes the earth beneath your feet.

The Hebrew writers understood this. The word of the Lord was not poetry — it was creative force. When He spoke, worlds formed. When He called Abraham, geography shifted. When He spoke over David in the shepherd’s field, a kingdom was already moving toward him. What God has declared over you is not an aspiration; it is a sovereign act already set in motion.

“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”ISAIAH 55:11 · NIV

God has already written your story — and His declaration over you is written in ink that cannot fade.

WRITTEN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

The great mystery of sovereign grace is this: God is not waiting to see how your story ends. He has already written it. Not in the fatalistic sense that robs you of your will, but in the deeply reassuring sense that your life is held in the hands of a God who exists outside of time, who has already seen your redemption, your faithfulness, your finish line — and called it good.

His declaration over you is not written in pencil, subject to erasure when you stumble. It is not written in water, washed away by your doubts or your tears. It is written in ink that cannot fade — sealed by the blood of the Lamb, ratified by the resurrection, sustained by the intercession of Christ Himself at the right hand of the Father this very moment.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”EPHESIANS 2:10 · NIV

You are not an accident. You are not a draft. You are His masterpiece — His *poiema*, His crafted poem — and He does not abandon the work of His own hands.

RECEIVE THE WORD HE HAS SPOKEN OVER YOU

Perhaps today you are standing in a place where the circumstances speak louder than the promise. Perhaps the ground beneath your feet does not yet look like the declaration you received in prayer, in the Word, in the still small voice in the night watches. Be encouraged, beloved. The declaration has gone forth. The reshaping has already begun in the unseen realm, and what is unseen today will become visible in due season.

Trust the Author. Yield to the One who holds the pen. His will is not a burden to bear — it is a covering to rest beneath. Surrender is not defeat; it is the posture of a child who trusts his Father completely. And in that surrender, you will find that the story being written over your life is far more glorious than anything you could have authored yourself.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”JEREMIAH 31:3 · NIV

A PRAYER OF SURRENDER

May it please you, Lord Jesus. You alone see me — fully, completely, and with eyes of eternal love. Thank you that your declaration over my life is not contingent on my performance, but secured in Your grace.

Father in Heaven, I surrender to You. Your will be done — in my life, in my family, in my home, in this land. Let Your word reshape everything the enemy has tried to claim. Let Your ink write over every lie. Let Your love be the loudest voice I hear.

Praise Your Holy Name. To you, Lord Jesus, be all glory — now and forevermore.
