Prayer of Thanksgiving

Almighty and gracious Father, we give You thanks and praise for all the blessings of this life. You have created the heavens and the earth, the seas and all that is in them, and You have given us dominion over all things for our use and enjoyment. We thank You for the beauty of creation, for the changing of the seasons, for the abundance of the earth, and for the wonders of the skies. We thank You for the gift of life, for health and strength, for food and drink, for clothing and shelter, for family and friends, for work and leisure, and for all the joys and pleasures of this life. We thank You, too, for the gift of faith, for the forgiveness of sins, for the promise of eternal life, and for the presence of Your Holy Spirit in our lives. We thank You for all Your blessings, known and unknown, and we ask that You would continue to richly bless us, both now and forevermore. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
